Product Description
  • Ductless Recirculation Design: Smoke is drawn in, cleaned through two filter stages, and released back into the room instead of being pushed outdoors through a pipe. A ductless chimney is the practical answer for flats where the kitchen has no external wall, or where the society does not permit a duct outlet.

  • Two-Stage Filtration: Stage one traps oil and grease, stage two absorbs odour, and only the cleaned air returns to the kitchen. Both stages work together, so skipping either one leaves either grease on the motor or the smell of last night's fish curry hanging around.

  • 1100 m³/h Airflow: Rated airflow reaches 1100 m³/h in open operation and settles at 800 m³/h once the carbon filters are in place, since the filter media adds resistance. Planning around the 800 m³/h figure gives a realistic picture of everyday performance.

  • Stainless Steel Baffle Filters: Two steel baffle filters catch oil and grease before either reaches the motor, and they lift out for washing in warm soapy water. A baffle filter chimney is cheaper to run over the years than one with mesh filters, because steel baffles are washed and refitted rather than replaced.

  • Activated Carbon Filter: High-grade carbon absorbs the odour molecules that grease filters cannot catch, which is what allows air to be returned to the room rather than vented out. A carbon filter chimney needs this stage replaced periodically, as carbon saturates with use and cannot be washed and reused.

  • Touch and Motion Sensor Controls: Wave a hand to start or stop the unit when your fingers are covered in atta or oil, or use the touch panel for speed changes. A 3 W LED lights the cooktop without adding noticeable load to the electricity bill.

  • Plug and Play Installation: No core cutting, no duct hole, and no masonry work is needed, so a ductless kitchen chimney can go up in an afternoon with basic drilling. Renters get the added benefit of taking it down and carrying it to the next home.

  • 60 cm Width with 250 W Motor: A 60cm kitchen chimney of this width covers two to four burner cooktops, and the flame-retardant plastic housing keeps the unit light enough for wall mounting without heavy anchoring. Coverage runs to 7 years on the motor and 2 years on the product.

Frequently asked questions

Can the chimney work without an external duct pipe?

Yes. The unit is designed to run duct-free, cleaning the air through baffle and carbon filters and recirculating it back into the kitchen. No pipe or outdoor outlet is needed.

Is a wall hole required for installation?

No core cutting or duct hole is required. Only the mounting holes for the wall bracket need drilling, which is why the unit suits rented flats and finished kitchens.

How does a ductless kitchen chimney remove odours?

Air passes first through steel baffle filters that trap oil and grease, then through an activated carbon filter that absorbs odour molecules. The cleaned air is then released back into the room.

What is the actual suction with carbon filters installed?

Airflow is rated at 1100 mΒ³/h, and drops to 800 mΒ³/h once the carbon filters are fitted. The carbon media adds resistance, so 800 mΒ³/h reflects real working performance.

How often should the carbon filters be replaced?

Carbon filters are consumable and cannot be washed and reused, so they need replacing once odour removal drops off. Frequency depends on how much frying happens daily, and Glen support on 9266655555 can advise the interval for your usage.

What stove size can be used below the chimney?

A 60 cm width suits two-, three-, and four-burner cooktops. Matching or exceeding the width of the cooktop keeps smoke from the outer burners within the hood.
