  2. Coat the paneer cubes evenly and marinate for 30 minutes.

  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 2 dried red chilies
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste

Ingredients for the Coconut Rice:

  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • ½ cup grated coconut
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp urad dal
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 2 green chilies (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Pressure cook toor dal with turmeric until soft and mash it.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and dried red chilies.
  3. Add onions, tomatoes, vegetables, sambar powder, and tamarind extract.
  4. Add cooked dal, salt, and water. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. For coconut rice, heat oil, add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, and chilies.
  6. Add grated coconut, saute briefly, mix with cooked rice, and season with salt.
  7. Serve sambar and coconut rice together!

4. Masala Dosa with Kara Chutney

  2. Heat oil in a pan on your 4 Burner Glass Gas Stove, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and green chilies. Saute onions and add mashed potatoes with turmeric and salt.
  3. For chutney, saute red chilies, tomatoes, and garlic. Blend with tamarind and salt into a paste.
  4. Heat a dosa pan, spread batter thinly, add masala filling, and fold.
  5. Serve with Kara chutney!

  1. In a pan, heat coconut milk and condensed milk over low heat.
  2. Add sugar and stir until it dissolves.
  3. Mix in tender coconut flesh and cardamom powder.

  5. Garnish with fried cashews and raisins. Chill before serving!
